In my work with metal I use various techniques, not limited to a particular process or style. Although malleable and forgiving, steel requires significant efforts to transform. For that reason, in most cases, I start with a relatively defined vision of the finished piece. Along the way I experiment with shapes and textures with the goal to get as close to the spirit of the initial idea as possible.
DRAWINGS

My approach to drawing is completely different. It is triggered by a feeling or an idea and the strong need to express it as an image. I start to draw lines and shapes trying to capture my feelings and thoughts in the moment, until I begin to see a path to a more comprehensive presentation of the concept. It is a very unpredictable process where the final drawing is influenced by the forces in my world and... the unknown.
